Event Creation and Design

Ray Fusco Inc. brings the creative horsepower and positive energy to accomplish the Herculean lift of first year event design, creation and production. Below are a list of original projects Ray Fusco Inc. has co-founded and produced with our client partners.

• Mayor's Cup New York City Kayak Championships: Co-founded a world class international kayak race with The New York City Sports Commission and produced it for 5 years in New York City.

• The North Face Get Outside on Governors Island 10K: Co-created and co-produced a first ever 10K road race on Governors Island.

• The Safe Harbor: Mariners Guide Safe Boating video project - co-developed and executed a regional safety initiative in cooperation with USCG, NJ DOT Marine Trades and The Harbor Safety, Navigation and Operations Committee of the Port of New York and New Jersey.

• Metedeconk River Run & Bear Mountain Challenge: Created the Tune Up brand and developed a series of small supporting kayak races to coincide with the Mayor's Cup New York City Kayak Championships.

• Beacon City Schools High School Kayak Program: Created an in-school outdoor education program to teach high school students kayaking in the physical education department and specifically in the swim curriculum. The program also included a Hudson River component to translate these skills and knowledge to their local natural environment.

• NECKS (North East Canoe and Kayak Symposium); Clinton, NJ: Co-created and co-produced an regional education and consumer paddlesports event.

Event Production and Management

Ray Fusco Inc. provides a suite of services to meet your event management and production needs. Whether your event needs a Race Director, War Room Manager, Timing consultant or Marketing, Ray Fusco Inc. specializes in building consensus, developing relationships and moving the project forward in a successful and thoughtful manner. Below are a list of projects where Ray Fusco Inc. plays a supporting role to his client partners.

• ING New York City Marathon: Consultant to NYRR for the ING Marathon performing a host of jobs over the years including jobs ranging from timing team preparation, organization and dispatch, to managing the war room to coordinating the Elite Runner timing system check.

• City of Water Day; NYC: Provide on-water safety and logistics support, marketing guidance, on land logistics support and production for this 11,000 person convergence on Governors Island

• Damon Runyon 5K: provide Race Director services for this unique event held in Yankee Stadium

• Cannonsville Adventure Triathlon: provide overall event production direction along with on-water safety support for the paddle leg of the race. This is the first ever race to take place on the NYC DEP property and NYC drinking water reservoir.

• Swim Across America: Provide on-water safety and logistics development and execution for this Hudson River fundraiser.

• Balance Bar 24-Hour Endurance Race: Provide on-water course development, safety and logistics support and local maritime resources to event partners.

• Wild Onion Adventure Race: Provide on-water course development, safety and logistics support and local maritime resources to event partners.
